Teachers of unaided schools stage protest in UP

Scores of teachers of unaided schools in Uttar Pradesh today staged a protest in front of assembly, demanding honorarium from the state government.

Teachers, who assembled here from different districts of the state, took out a procession and and blocked main assembly road, causing traffic disruption for hours.

The demonstration was later called off on the assurance of senior officers.
