Techie killed in road mishap along with wife, daughter

A 45-year-old software engineer, his wife and their teenage daughter were killed when their car collided with a state transport bus near Thotapalli village in the district today, police said.

The victims were identified as E. Shiva Ram Reddy, his wife Srilatha (40) and their daughter (15).

Another girl who was travelling with the family was seriously injured in the accident.

Police said prima facie the accident occurred due to ongoing road-widening work.

A case is registered against driver of the bus.
