Teenage boy beaten to death

A teenage boy was beaten to death allegedly by two villagers, police said today.

Hitesh Yadav, a student of a local college and a budding footballer, was beaten to death allegedly by two villagers, identified as Ravinder Yadav and Rounak Yadav, at Motla Khurd village under Jatusana Police Station of the district, last night, they said.

A case of murder was registered against the duo on a complaint made by the family of the deceased, police said.

Body has been sent for post-mortem at the PGIMS,Rohtak.

A senior police official said that further proceedings in the case would be launched after the post-mortem examination report is received.
