A 14-year-old girl was shot dead allegedly by her maternal uncle in the district when she asked for some money from him.
Gulfsha was alone in her house yesterday in Jolla village under Bhudhana police station area when she was shot dead by her uncle after she asked him to give her some money, Circle Officer S P Sharma said.
An FIR has been registered against the accused who is absconding, he said, adding, the body has been sent for postmortem and investigations are underway.
