Teenager kills self after shooting dead uncle, cousin

A 17-year-old boy today allegedly killed his uncle and cousin before taking his own life at Fatehpur Chaurasi area here, police said .

The teenager shot his uncle Ramesh Singh (68) and cousin Praveen Kumar alias Rinku (28) over a family dispute, Superintendent of Police Neha Pandey said.

The father-son duo died on the spot.

The accused was prevented from fleeing by the villagers, who reached the spot after hearing the gun-shots.

Finding himself trapped, the boy shot himself.

The bodies of the victims have been sent for postmortem, police said, adding that they are probing the matter.
