Telangana minister T Harish Rao appears before court

Telangana irrigation minister T Harish Rao today appeared before a court in Warangal in connection with an election-related case.

The court cancelled the bailbale warrant issued against him earlier, and adjourned the proceedings to February 9.

K Surekha, YSRCP candidate for Parkal byelection in 2012, has filed a case alleging that Rao, a TRS MLA had violated the election code of conduct during the campaigning.

As Rao did not attend a hearing on July 25, the additional munsif magistrate had issued a bailable warrant.
