Tension in village after VCK found murdered

: Tension prevailed at nearby keezhaselvanur and other areas after a local secretary of Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi was found murdered and his body dumped in a roadside pit late last night.

Police said Duraipandi (48) belonged to Marathikulam, but it was not clear why he had come to Keezhaselvanur.

Armed police have been posted in sensitive areas to prevent any untoward incidents, they said.
