Thangminlen Kipgen appointed NPP Manipur president

Former minister Thangminlen Kipgen was today appointed as the Manipur state unit president of the National People's Party (NPP).

NPP national president Conrad Sangma formally announced the appointment of Kipgen at a party programme.

Conrad said NPP would fight the state Assembly election in 2017 and the Imphal Municipal Corporation poll slated to be held on June 2 next.
