Thoor dal, urad dal prices down

Prices of thoor dal and urad dal decreased while prices of the rest of commodities ruled steady in the wholesale foodgrain market here during the week under review.

Opening the week thoor dal and urad dal prices at Rs.8,200 and Rs.9,200 its prices were steady till Thursday when it fell by Rs.300 per quintal to close the week Rs.7,900 and Rs.8,900 respectively.

Moong dal (Rs.6,700), gram dal (Rs.7,400), sugar (Rs.4,300), wheat (Rs.3,000), Maida (90 kg)(Rs 2,700) and sooji (90 kg) (Rs.3,200) prices ruled steady throughout the week.
