Three arrested for outraging the modesty of woman

The Police today arrested three persons on charge of outraging the modesty of a 25-year-old woman in Ichhapur locality under Kendrapara town police station jurisdiction.

The arrested persons who hail from nearby Bengapatia locality were booked under Section 342 (wrong confinement), 354 (outrage of modesty) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC and forwarded to court, the police said.

The court rejected their bail application and remanded them to jail custody.
