Three bridges thrown open to public in Valley

Jammu and Kashmir government today dedicated three bridges here, constructed at a cumulative cost of Rs 26.75 crore, to the people.

The three bridges at Lasjan, Padshahi Bagh and Chhanpora Bypass road here were inaugurated by minister for Roads and Buildings Abdul Majid Wani, an official spokesman said.

The 5-span bridge at Lasjan has been completed at a cost of Rs 16.50 crore, while the Padshahi Bagh bridge has been constructed at an amount of Rs 3 crore, the spokesman said adding, Rs 7.25 crore has been spent on completion of Chhanpora Bypass bridge.

The minister expressed satisfaction over completion of construction work on these vital links and expressed hope that they will provide connectivity between different parts of the Bypass road and will also ensure hassle free traffic movement on the highway.
