Three family members killed in road accident in UP

Three family members were today killed when the bike they were riding on was hit by a tanker in Gauri Bazar area here, police said.

Sahdev Sahni (60), his son Ajay Sahni (22) and daughter Pushpa Devi (40) were killed on the spot in the accident, they said.

The driver of the tanker fled from the spot leaving behind the vehicle which was seized. An FIR has been lodged an FIR in this connection and bodies have been sent for postmortem examination, police added.
