A local court today sentenced three persons to life imprisonment in connection with a 2012 murder case.

Jagtial Second Additional Sessions Judge P Ranjan Kumar awarded the sentence to Rai Vijay (19), Rai Srinivas (28) and Mothe Venkatesham for killing a 55-year-old man.

Public Prosecutor M Surender said, the accused had a property dispute with the victim Allakonda Ramulu of Maithapur village in Jagtial district.

"In order to end the dispute, the trio hatched a plan to eliminate Ramulu and on April 2, 2012 they stabbed him to death on Maitapur village outskirts. During the probe, the trio was arrested," Surender said.
