Three held for 'transporting' ganja worth Rs 35 lakh

Three persons were today arrested for allegedly "transporting 300 kgs of dry ganja worth Rs 35 lakh", a senior excise official said.

Based on a specific information, the officials seized the contraband from three vehicles near Outer Ring Road at Ghatkesar while it was being brought from Visakhapatnam, he said.

The arrested accused were identified as Sreedhar P, K Veeraraju and K Ramana Rao, the official said, adding a probe was on.
