Three persons charred to death in fire mishap

Three persons were charred to death while two were injured when a major fire broke out in a tent house in Siyani Gate area here late last night.

"Fire department received information around 1:45 AM last night stating that a fire broke out at Agarwal Tent House situated in Siyani Gate area," said V K Singh, Chief Fire Officer (CFO), Ghaziabad.

Four fire tenders were pressed into service to douse the flames.

The Fire department doused the fire by this morning.

"Three persons, identified as Sanjeev, Sunil and Bhawani, who worked at the tent house, were burnt alive.Besides, two persons were injured," Singh said.
 

Police said the condition of the injured persons is stated to be stable.

"The reason behind the fire is yet to be ascertained.Fire department has ordered an enquiry into the incident," the CFO said.
