Three women die, seven injured as tractor-trolley overturns

Three Tharu women were killed while seven others were injured when a loaded tractor-trolley overturned in Poya village under the Chandanchauki police limits today.

Chandanchauki police officials informed that five of the injured were rushed to district hospital in view of their serious condition and the remaining were given first aid.

Police said accident took place when the tribal women were going on the tractor-trolley loaded with sugarcane which lost control while negotiating a deep pothole on the road and overturned into a roadside khud.

Locals rushed to the rescue of the victims but three of the women succumbed to their injuries.
