Three-year-old girl dies after falling into open manhole

A three-year-old girl today died after she fell into a open manhole in Faridabad district of Haryana, police said.

Following the death of the girl, identified as Kajal, around 2 PM today, locals gathered at the spot and protested against the district administration for leaving several manholes open in the area.

They said officials failed to reach the spot even several hours after the incident was reported to them, police sources said.
