Tibetan youth takes out rally on "Uprising Day"

The Regional Tibetan Youth Congress (RTYC) members in the city staged a rally here to mark the 56th anniversary of the Tibetan people's national uprising day against 'Communist repression' in Tibet.
Young men and women belonging to RTYC took part in the rally last evening as part of the world wide national uprising day observed by Tibetan community on March 10, RTYC president Phuntosk said in a release here.
He hoped that all Tibetans would be able go back to their nation one day and the sacrifices of the Tibetan people would never go unnoticed.
Tibetan Uprising Day is observed on March 10 to commemorate the 1959 Tibetan Uprising against the presence of the People's Republic of China in Tibet.
