TN CM grants solatium to kin of victims

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa today ordered a solatium of Rs one lakh each to the next of kin of four persons who died due to electrocution recently in different parts of the State.

Expressing grief over the deaths, Jayalalithaa ordered release of Rs one lakh each to the families of the victims, a release said.

Two men and two women died of electrocution recently. While the men belonged to Nagapattinam and Tiruchirappalli districts, the women belonged to Tuticorin district.
