TN Milk production surges by 1.25 lakh litres

A sum of Rs 1069 crore is being spent all over the state to construct hospitals for animals, Tamil Nadu Minister for Animal Husbandry T. K. M. Chinnayya has said.

Work in this regard is going, he said at a function near here yesterday.

Distributing free milch animals to 50 beneficiaries, the Minister said milk production during the year ended March 2014 has surged by 1.25 lakh litres in the state.
