Tourism projects worth Rs 827 cr sanctioned: Chiranjeevi
The actor turned politician assumed office six months ago

Union Tourism Minister K Chiranjeevi has claimed to have sanctioned projects, schemes and works valued at Rs 824 crore during the last six months since he assumed office.
He said this while speaking at the valedictory meeting of the two-day Surya Lanka Beach festival at Guntur district's Baptla town here today.
Chiranjeevi underscored the need to develop beaches as holiday resorts and agreed to consider a request to construct a tourist guest house at the Surya Lanka beach.
"We should take care of archaeological structures and preserve them. They are witnesses to our history, culture and traditions," he said.
