Trade bodies welcome Air India Express flight to Singapore

With Express announcing the introduction of their flights from New Delhi-Coimbatore-sector, to be operational from November 18, the Kongu Global Forum (KGF), today said that this will significantly help passengers from Seven district of Western Parts of Tamil Nadu.

Besides, Coimbatore, Tirupur, Karur, Nilgiris, Salem, Erode and Namakkal, the passengers from Palakkad in would also get connected internationally, KGF, the trade and industry body of seven western districts, Chairman A Shaktivel and Convenor Vanitha Mohan said in a statement here.

KGF has been successful in getting Coimbatore a much needed international connection to from Express, they said.
