Twelve of the city's crossings will be put under strict vigilance besides videographing of the vehicular movements in an effort to improvise traffic situation and penalise those who flout rules here, police said today.
A large number of traffic rule violation complaints come from the main crossings in the city. To keep a check on this, vehicular movements would be videographed, traffic SP Lallan Singh said.
He also said that strict action would be taken against those breaking traffic rules. Also, additional traffic police would be deployed at those crossings and timers are being put on traffic lights at these spots.
Stressing that the traffic police is preparing to take steps against bikers performing on-road stunts, Singh said that hidden cameras are being installed to nab them.
