A Malayalam translation of Robert Kanigel's famous biography of legendary mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan would be released at a function here on August 21.
'The man who knew infinity: A life of the Genius Ramanujan' by Kanigel has been translated into Malayalam by P Ramachandra Menon, T M Sankaran and J W Kristal Flori for the Kerala Bhasha Institute and Ramanujan Mathematical Society.
The book, titled 'Ananthathe Arinja Aal' will be released by Chief Minister Oommen Chandy by handing over a copy to Kerala State Council for Science and Technology executive vice president V N Rajasekharan Pillai.
Kerala Bhasha Institute director M R Thampan would be present at the function to be presided over by Culture Minister K C Joseph, a release here said.
