Eight injured in building collapse

Eight persons were injured when the centring of a five-storey under construction building caved in at Someshwaranagar in the city today.

Police, quoting labourers on the spot, said three others were believed to have been "trapped" in the basement.

Police and fire-brigade rushed to the spot to undertake rescue operations.

The injured were taken to a hospital.
