Stocks of travel companies Cox & Kings and Thomas Cook India saw mixed trend after Finance Minister Arun Jaitley announced that visa on arrival facility would be expanded to 150 countries.
Cox & Kings rose by 3.25 per cent to Rs 339, while Thomas Cook fell by 1.79 per cent to Rs 196.55 on the BSE following the announcement.
Visa on arrival scheme to be expanded to 150 countries from the current 43 countries, the Finance Minister said in his budget speech.
In the broader market, the BSE benchmark Sensex was trading down 189.45 points higher at 29,409.57 at 1230 hrs.
