Truck carrying 20 tons explosive seized, 2 held in Raj

Police today seized a truck carrying 20 tons of explosives and arrested two persons, at a village in this district of Rajasthan, an official said.

Acting on a tip-off, police intercepted the vehicle which was on its way from Udaipur to Barmer at a check post in Nosar village, SHO of Bayut Thana Manoj Mudh said.

About 405 bags of ammonium nitrate were seized and the truck driver, Panchuram Rajpurohit, and a trader Ishraram Jat were arrested, he said.
