TVS Motor sales up 11% at 2,47,085 units in June

TVS Motor Company today reported 11 per cent increase in total sales at 2,47,085 units in June.

The Chennai-based company had sold 2,22,017 units in the same month last year.

Total two-wheeler sales during the month grew 13.8 per cent to 2,39,957 units as against 2,10,920 units in the same month a year ago, TVS Motor Company said in a regulatory filing.

Motorcycle sales rose 7.6 per cent to 95,465 units in June as compared to 88,690 units in the same month a year ago.

Scooter sales surged 10.3 per cent to 67,539 units from 61,215 units in the same month a year ago.
