'Twilight' director to helm medical drama pilot

'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' helmer David Slade will direct and executive produce an upcoming medical drama pilot 'LFE'.

Actor-writer David Marshall Grant of 'Nashville' fame has joined the pilot as executive producer and showrunner, reported Deadline.

Written/co-executive produced by young playwright Paul Downs Colaizzo, 'LFE' is described as a high-octane medical procedural centering on second-year residents at New York City's top hospital.
