Two bike thieves arrested

Police today claimed to have busted a gang allegedly involved in bike thefts with the arrest of two persons from Sector 62 here.

Five stolen motorcycles were also seized from their possession, they said.

The duo, Shiv Kumar and Dinesh Kumar, confessed to have stolen 200 bikes from the NCR region, police said.

According to the police, the culprits used to rob vehicle owners on gunpoint and sell the bikes with the help of fake documents.

Five cases of robbery had earlier been lodged against the accused in Bulandshahr, Noida, Ghaziabad and Delhi, they added.
