Two brothers beaten to death

Two brothers were beaten to death by armed assailants over a land dispute at Manjhipur village under Pasraha police station in Khagaria district, the police said today.

The assailants attacked Kare Singh and Bablu Singh with sticks last night killing the former on the spot while his brother succumbed to his injuries in a hospital.

The main accused Shankar Singh has been arrested while raids were being conducted to nab the other assailants, the sources said.
