Two children today drowned in a pond in Chaumuhan town in the district while they were taking bath, along with other family members.
According to police, Vinod Joshi was paying obeisance at the lord Brahma temple with his wife and three children-- Abhishek (10), Anjali (7) and Anshul (5).
While taking a holy dip in Brahmakund, the three children started drowning as they went into deep water.
An alarm was raised and divers tried to rescue them but could save only Anshul, the youngest child.
The other two were taken to a hospital where they were declared brought dead, police said.
