Two boys drown in village pond

Two boys, aged 11 years, drowned in a pond in Susari village in Jalgaon district today.

Gaurav Ashok Talele and Nitin Laxman Patil had gone for a swim with some other children when the mishap took place this evening.

Some villagers tried to rescue them but both were declared dead on arrival at the hospital, said assistant police inspector Dilip Gagurde.
