A two day international conferenceby serving and retired judges besides leaders of barassociations will be held here from January 7 next.
Apart from the jurists, Speakers of Legislative bodies, Parliamentarians, diplomats, writers and bureaucrats will also attend the meet, International Council of Jurists and All India Bar Association President Dr Adish C Aggarwala and Convener K A Devarajan told reporters here. The two day meet is jointly organised by International Councilof Jurists, International Commission of Writers, All India Bar Association and Indian Council of Jurists.
Subjects to be deliberated during the meet include, InternationalTerrorism and Law, Relationship between Judiciary, Legislature and Executive, Enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights, Abolition of death penalty, Police Reforms, International Commercial Arbitration and Meditation, Rights and Duties of Press while tackling the menace of terrorism, banking and insurance laws and world class education: issues and challenges, they said.
