Two girls were killed and four persons were injured when a mound of earth fell over them in Joharpur village here, the police said today.
The incident occurred when locals were digging soil yesterday for some household use and the mound collapsed on them, killing Priyanka (17) and Anjali (11) on the spot, they said.
The other four were rushed to a hospital where they are undergoing treatment, the police added.
