Two held for circulating fake currency: UP STF

Two persons allegedly involved in printing of Fake Indian Currency Notes (FICN) were arrested by Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force, official sources said Sunday.
The two were arrested from Chinhat area on Saturday and FICN worth Rs 8,700 including Rs 100, Rs 200 and Rs 50 notes were recovered from them, an STF official said here.
A colour printer, scanner, paper cutter and a number of half printed notes were also recovered from their possession, he claimed. A probe is on in the matter, he added.
