Two held with over Rs 32 lakh cash in Indore

Two persons suspected to be involved a hawala racket were today arrested along with Rs 32.58 lakh cash here, police said.

The two motorbike borne men-- Jitendra Rao (28) and Rajesh Nimadia (40)- were caught during checking of vehicles. A sum of Rs 32.58 lakh was recovered from their possession which they were supposed to deliver to some persons under a hawala transaction, a Juni Indore Police Sub Inspector said.

Police suspect that the duo is engaged in a big hawala racket. They are being grilled and further investigations are on, he added.
