Two persons were killed and three others injured today in two separate accidents caused due to dense fog in Fatehgarh Sahib district, police said.
Six vehicles collided with each other, killing one person and injuring three when a truck due to low visibility suddenly applied brakes due to which a tempo rammed into the truck and two privates buses, two cars collided with each other, causing a pileup of vehicles, they said.
A youth died in the mishap, police said.
In a separate incident, a pedestrian, who was crossing the road near village Harbanspura was also killed when he was hit by an unknown vehicle. He was not able to see the vehicle due to poor visibility.
