Two killed as truck falls in river

The mishap occurred yesterday when the vehicle skidded off the road and fell into the river, killing Lalbai (35) and Jeevan Shah (38) on the spot.

The victims were labourers from Chanta and Navatola villages, they said.

Police said 16 labourers sitting on top of the truck have sustained injuries and are admitted in district hospital.
