Two elderly persons were killed and another injured today when a damaged house suddenly collapsed following a magnitude 4 earthquake in Nepal.
Two elderly people, both in their 80s, died when their house in Kunchowk village of Sindhupalchowk district collapsed. The house had been weakened already by the two powerful quakes that shook Nepal in recent months, followed my hundreds of aftershocks.
Another 84-year-old man was seriously injured in the incident and was rushed to hospital, according to the police.

Earlier today, a magnitude 4 aftershock was recorded by National Seismological Centre in Sindhupalchowk district, taking the total number of aftershocks to 329.
Nearly 9,000 people were killed and over 23,000 injured in the two powerful quakes on April 25 and May 12.
