Two persons were today killed when the tempo they were travelling in, collided with a bus after being hit by another vehicle near Mahad, police said.
The mishap took place on the Mumbai-Goa highway in the wee hours when the duo were going to Mumbai with some goods, a police official of Chiplun police station said.
A pick up vehicle first dashed the tempo after which it collied with a luxury bus. The deceased have been identified Abhishek Kudalkar and tempo driver Shrikrishna Dere, he said, adding a probe was underway.
