Two KPLT militants held

Two militants, belonging to the Karbi People Liberation Tigers (KPLT), were arrested from Kolonga area in Karbi Anglong district, police said today.

Acting on a tip off, police arrested the two extremists when they were demanding money from school teachers in the area yesterday.

Search was on to locate arms and ammunition hidden by the two militants in the area, police officials said.
