Two men get seven yrs RI for drug trafficking

A special court here today sentenced two men to seven years of rigorous imprisonment (RI) in a 2011 case of drug trafficking.

Special Judge Rajesh Gupta convicted Prahlad Lodha and Sujon Lodha and awarded the sentence. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 75,000 on each on them, Special Public Prosecutor P N Malakar told PTI.

Police had recovered over one-and-half kilograms of opium from their possession on October 11, 2011 from Manpura village in the district.
