Two persons held with fake notes

Acting on a tip-off, the police arrested two people and seized 81 and 13 fake notes in the denomination of Rs 1000 and Rs 500 respectively, sources said.

The accused persons, identified as Sheikh Ibrahim and S Rehman brought the fake notes to circulate in the Indian market, they said.

The nationality of the arrested duo was being ascertained, the sources said.
