Two persons sleeping at bus stand killed by car driver

Two persons sleeping at a bus stand in Chhatarpur area were killed by a car tonight which later rammed into a pole nearby, police said.

The injured have been rushed to AIIMS Trauma Centre while the accused has been held.

Police said that the car driver drove into the bus stand where the two were sleeping and then the vehicle rammed into a pole.

Further details are awaited.

It is suspected that the driver might be drunk but a medical test will only confirm whether there was alcohol in his blood.
