Two police personnel killed in militant attack

Two police personnel were killed today in a militant attack on a patrol party in Kulgam district of south Kashmir, police said.

Militants opened firing on the patrol party at Kulgam town this afternoon, resulting in the death of two cops, a police official said.

The slain cops have been identified as Tanveer Ahmad and Jalaluddin Ahmad, the official added.
