Two shot at for not giving way to bike

In a suspected case of road rage, two occupants of a car were shot at by motorcycle borne miscreants for allegedly not giving way in South East Delhi, police said today.

The injured Manmohan Sharma, 27, and his brother-in-law Shivam, belonging to Farrukhabad in UP were returning back to their home in Kotla Mubarakpur here at around midnight yesterday when the incident took place, said a senior police officer.

Manmohan, a private tutor along with Shivam had gone for dinner in his car. While returning back, a motorcyclist signalled him for giving way which he could not understand.

As Manmohan stopped his car near Archna Cinema traffic signal, the motorcyclist confronted him and abused him and , the pillion rider allegedly fired several rounds injuring Manmohan and Shivam.
 

Five empty cartridges were recovered from the spot and further investigation are on, police said.

A case of attempt to murder has been registered and teams have been formed to nab the assailants, added the officer.
