U'khand launches online lottery system for Haj pilgrims

Uttarakhand Governor Aziz Qureshi today launched an online lottery system for the annual selection of Haj pilgrims from the state.

Speaking on the occasion, Qureshi congratulated those selected for this year's pilgrimage, and appealed them to conduct themselves as true Muslims during the journey.

Against a total number of 3,731 applications, permission has been granted to 1,061 pilgrims to undertake the holy journey.
