The United Nations Day would be observed on October 24 in Punjab.
The flag of United Nations would be hoisted atop Government buildings wherever the National flag is hoisted, an official spokesman said here today.
The United Nations flag would, however, not be hoisted on Raj Bhawans/Raj Niwas' and buildings housing Legislative Councils, Legislative Assemblies and High Courts, he added.
