Unidentified body found from mining pit in Haryana's Faridabad

An unidentified body of a woman has been found from a water-filled mining pit in Mangar area here and a case of murder has been lodged against unknown persons, police said today.

The body of the woman, apparently in her 20s, was discovered by yesterday by officials of the Forest Department during a patrolling in the area, they said.

The unidentified killers had tried to hide the body under stones inside the pit, police said.

A case has been registered against unidentified people for murder and attempt to destroy the evidence of the crime, police said.
